You’ll be guided step-by-step as you paint a vibrant tropical sunset with shimmering stars, rolling waves, and a silhouetted palm. Along the way, you’ll learn simple blending techniques, brush control, and how to add highlights and texture that bring your scene to life. Come solo, bring a friend, or make it a group night—no experience needed, and you’ll leave with a finished canvas you’ll be proud to take home. Want to turn it into the perfect night out? Learn the art of candlemaking in this introductory workshop. You will be taken through a fun tour of candlemaking and will be introduced to a variety of candlemaking supplies and techniques. To ignite your creativity, you'll be taught how to customize your candles with fragrance oils and dried flowers. By the end of this workshop, you will have three homemade soy blend candles to add some amazing aromas to your home. If you're feeling generous, you could even give them out as handmade gifts to some lucky loved ones! Children ages 10+ older may attend this workshop accompanied by an adult.

Have you ever wanted to make your own earrings but didn't know how? Now's your chance to learn the skill! We'll teach you how to create beautiful and custom drop earrings and how to use the tools including pliers and techniques. You'll learn how to make drop earrings and choose from an array of beads and spacers. Leave the workshop with at least three new earrings and a new skill to keep creating!

Paint a bright, cheerful bouquet in this beginner-friendly 90-minute watercolor workshop at Craft and Light. We’ll start with the essentials—how to load your brush, control water, and practice a few foundational strokes—then build those skills into simple flower shapes, leaves, and stems. You’ll learn easy techniques for blending and layering color to create that soft watercolor glow, inspired by our vibrant floral sample. By the end of class, you’ll leave with your own finished watercolor flower bouquet painting—perfect to frame, gift, or keep as a reminder of your new skills. No experience needed.

Wrap yourself in something you made. In this beginner-friendly 4-week Scarf Making Series at Craft and Light, you’ll learn the basics of knitting while creating a cozy garter-stitch scarf from start to finish. Perfect for hesitant learners, we’ll take it slow and keep it supportive—covering how to cast on, knit the garter stitch, fix common mistakes, and bind off with confidence. Classes meet for one hour each Tuesday for four Tuesdays, giving you time to practice, ask questions, and enjoy the camaraderie of learning alongside others. By the end, you’ll leave with a beautiful handmade scarf—and the skills (and courage) to knit many more.
