Get ready for a week of creativity, color, and *seriously fun messes* — the kind kids talk about all summer.
Our Art Camp is a hands-on creative adventure for grades K-5. Young artists explore **mixed media projects, clay workshops, imaginative crafts and of course- a lot of glitter! Every day brings something new to make, build, paint, shape, and design.
We believe art should feel exciting, expressive, and joyful — not perfect. Campers are encouraged to explore their ideas, get messy, and discover what they’re capable of in a supportive, upbeat studio environment.
Mid-morning, we pause for a **gluten-free snack break** enjoyed on the nice patio outside.
By the end of camp, kids don’t just take home projects — they take home new skills, big confidence, and memories of a week full of laughter, creativity, and connection.

About our Kid Studio Workshops
How we create the program: We keep in mind these elements to provide a strong creative experience for your kid: engagement, freedom to explore, and skill building.
Ability Levels: Since this is a K-5 workshop, the projects are matched to reach each student's ability level. Older students ( 3rd-5th grades) will be encouraged to apply more thought process into projects and at times will have a different materials to complete their art project than the younger ones.
Time: Most workshops are 60-75 minutes. Depending on how fast kids complete the project.
Drop-Off and Pick-Up: You are welcome to drop- off your kid, however please make sure to arrive five minutes prior to end of class for pick-up.
Location: Workshops at the Craft+Light Studio
We are located in Naples Long Beach
at 5614 E. 2nd Street Long Beach, CA.
Cancellation Policy: We understand plans sometimes change, however, due to the preparation of the workshop should you need to cancel, the studio offers studio credit only for workshop at the same price. Please email: connect@craftandlight.org to reschedule.
Our workshops are just the perfect thing afterschool or join us online to add to any of your enrichment at home activities. Craft Kits for virtual workshops are provided to kids in many cities: Los Angeles, Irvine, Costa Mesa, Manhattan Beach, Torrance, Bellflower, Garden Grove, Cypress, and Rossmoor.
