Covid Health & Safety Plan

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), says COVID-19 is a respiratory virus and is mainly spread through droplets created when an infected person coughs, sneezes, or talks. While less common, they believe the virus can also be transmitted via surfaces.

The CDC found a significant number of people with COVID-19 don’t show symptoms and that you can transmit the virus before showing symptoms, which is why the CDC stresses social distancing and wearing masks to prevent spread. Based on this, our safety focuses are:

  1. Social distancing

  2. Wearing masks

  3. Enhanced cleaning protocol with EPA-registered disinfectants

  4. Air quality and ventilation

Safety starts with you! Per CDC guidelines, we ask that you  stay home if you don’t feel well, are experiencing symptoms such as a cough, fever, or shortness of breath, or if you have tested positive for COVID-19 or have been in contact with someone who has.

  1. To maintain safety, free craft kit is provided to all who register and attend a workshop. The craft kit will include the materials prepared for you only to assist you in completing your craft. o

  2. Supplies will undergo a sanitation process daily for your ensured safety. Gloves are recommended and will be provided to you.  We’ll also be providing hand sanitizer so you can sanitize your hands and have use of the supplies.

  3. Maximum capacity inside of the studio is five people.

  4. We encourage you to please use the restroom prior to your arrival. Additional sanitation will be made in high traffic areas such as the kitchenette and bathroom.

  5. All Craft + Light guests will be asked to wash their hands prior to their departure.

  6. Keep others safe by wearing a mask! We know this will be a huge adjustment, but the CDC strongly suggests this because COVID-19 is a respiratory virus.

  1. Will you still be offering virtual workshops?  Yes! We have loved seeing you online and will continue to offer this option for those who desire to enjoy creating crafts in their homes .

  2. How will you be able to offer workshops with smaller capacity? Workshops will be offered to you three times: morning, evening and online. We will offer four workshops a month so you'll have much to choose from! And craft kits will always be available should you miss a workshop.

  3. What are the new studio hours have changed for the summer and are : M-F 10-6PM  (closed for lunch 12:30-1:30PM) and Saturday 9:00-12:30PM.
